Orthodontic monitoring

We do not fit braces or run full orthodontic treatment here. What we do is watch bite and jaw growth at routine visits, take screening records when needed, and refer to a specialist orthodontist when braces or aligners are the right next step.

  • Screen at checks
  • Refer when needed

What we do here

Orthodontics scope

Growth checks, photos, screening x-rays, habit advice, and referral letters — not brackets, aligner courses, or wire adjustments at this clinic.

Early signs

Crossbite, crowding, thumb habits, or an adult tooth stuck under the gum — we note and explain timing.

Steps

Specialist referral

Letter, photos, and x-rays to an orthodontist when active treatment belongs with them — not us.

Monitoring vs full treatment

If you need someone to put brackets on and see you every six weeks for adjustments, you need a specialist orthodontist. These accordions spell out our scope, warning signs, and how early tooth loss fits in.

What we do

Routine bite checks, eruption tracking, photos, screening x-rays, and habit advice at check ups. Referral when specialist care is due.

Hygiene visits continue here while braces happen elsewhere.

What we do not do

Full fixed braces, clear aligner treatment plans, regular ortho adjustment appointments, or complex jaw surgery coordination in-house.

We will not pretend this clinic is an orthodontist's office.

When to worry

Crossbites, an underbite, severe crowding, or an adult tooth not coming down after months. Thumb or dummy habits past preschool can change jaw shape.

Early loss may need a space maintainer — that is separate from braces.

Mention it at booking

Note bite concerns when you book online. We watch at ordinary visits — no upsell to braces.

Referral timing depends on eruption and severity, not a sales calendar.

The process

How you get this done

From a routine check to a specialist orthodontist if braces are needed — not fitted here.

  1. Routine check

We note bite and eruption at ordinary visits — no separate braces consult.

  2. Discuss timing

Photos and plain language on whether to watch, refer now, or refer later.

  3. Refer

Orthodontist appointment with records when active treatment is due elsewhere.

  4. Shared care

Check ups and hygiene continue here while braces happen at the specialist.

Honest answers

If something is holding you back

Braces here, cost, baby teeth, and nervous teens — straight answers.

Braces here?

No. We monitor and refer. Adjustments and full courses are with an orthodontist.

Cost of braces

Specialist fees are quoted by the orthodontist. Screening at check ups is part of ordinary visits here.

Will baby teeth matter?

Early loss can cause crowding — maintainers and timing both matter before braces.

Nervous teen

Orthodontists expect questions. We refer with notes so the first specialist visit is informed.

Crowding or a bite worry?

Mention it at the next check. We will tell you if a specialist look is worth it now or later — we will not sell you braces in-house.
